BAIC Officially Announces partnership Chinese 8-Ball South Africa
In an illustrious event held at the Festival of Motoring at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit this morning, BAIC Motors officially launched Chinese 8-Ball Super League strategic partnership. The Fortune 500 listed company’s ground breaking partnership will definitely take Chinese 8-Ball in South Africa to new heights. The sport has in the past year or two gained immense popularity and some of our local talents have become worldwide sensations representing the country at major ICEA events.
Mr. Steven Sun Director of BAIC Africa region, announced unequivocally that the BAIC strategic partnership is aimed at developing/engaging the community through sport as well as strengthening economic ties between China and South Africa. Amongst many other things, Sun seems to enjoy the warm sun of the southern-most country in Africa, he reiterated that partnering with the Rainbow nation was a big move that BAIC has undertaken, this is echoed by the fact they have also established a manufacturing plant in the Coega close to Port Elizabeth.
Other distinguished guests included Mr. Max Xue, CEO of BAIC SA, Ms Batandwa Mdyesha, CFO of BAIC Automobile SA and Mr. Jason Greer himself as the Master of Ceremonies. In the background was the roaring sound of torque, metal and screeching rubber in the world class Kyalami racecourse.
This weekend all roads lead to the Gateway mall in Durban where another Lease2Race Car competition will take place and another lucky CESL player will drive away in a brand new BAIC D20. Will Aden win the second car in succession, will Ishmael with a second one or will Leeroy’s star shine again? If you can please make your way to the event and you will not be disappointed.
If you are not playing Chinese 8Ball yet, you are missing out!
