Kurshan Moodley conquers all !!
The 2nd edition of the Joy Billiards’ Virtual Chinese Pool Home Edition Tournament concluded with Kurshan Moodley coming out tops in a thriller of a Finale’ between Jacobus le Roux from Secunda and himself.
Kurshan on a 1 handicap and Jacobus on a 0 handicap set the tone for an even and balanced Finale which went down to the wire with both players
potting like there is no tomorrow both breaking and clearing on their respective tables. They could only be separated by a sudden death shoot out where Kurshan stood tall, firm, calm and collected to slot the grand of the prize of the day.
He bagged himself a cool R5000 Makro gift voucher and ofcourse a spot in the Big December 5 event where the winner is going to walk away with a grand prize of a R100 000 home make-over. Welldone Kurshan for flying the Durban Flag high!!
One of Mpumalanga’s and South Africa’s finest cue sport players Jacobus le Roux was runner up in the 2nd edition of the Joy Billiard’s Virtual Chinese Pool Home Edition Tournament, succumbing to the young sensation Kurshan Moodley in an exciting Finale’.
The seasoned campaigner who is not new to high pressure and intense tournaments, having represented his province and country on numerous occasions, narrowly lost in the final to a very determined Kurshan.
His road to the final was not a smooth one as he was on a 0 handicap with most players being on higher handicaps than him but his experience and consistency was key.
He earned himself a cool R3k Makro Gift Voucher and a spot in the December 5 main event where the winner will receive a R100 000 home make-over as the Grand Prize.
Well-done Jacobus for shining bright and representing Mpumalanga boldly.
After a very solid performance on the day David succumbed to eventual tournament winner Kurshan Moodley in a very tense affair which ended in a stalemate and required a shoot out to break the deadlock.
He went on to defeat fellow Capetonean Monray Booysen in the 3rd/4th play-off match and in the process earned himself a lekka R2000 Makro Gift voucher to spoil himself.
Good job Mr Shaskolsky, representing the Mother City with pride!!
